If this is your secret... which actor is supposed to be Dee? The man in blue looks waaaaaay too young!

It is in fact the man in blue. To be fair, its the beginning of his career, but he's doing the mysteries from the books and doesn't even have his first wife yet.

The also made Chiao Tai act much more like Ma Joong, which they had to do, because they made Ma Joong into a woman who, rather than being an expert martial artist, is a tricky con woman type like Tao Gan.

Over all its a FUN show, but they took some real liberties.

Probably less than that 2010 movie which included (IIRC) wire-fu, but yeah. I suppose the actor's being 40 isn't out of line for Dee's early career but he still looks waaaaaaay too young.

To be fair, there IS some wire-fu in this, just not to the 2010 extent.
