I've been really lucky when it comes to fandoms as an adult. Mostly because I tend to be a little distant since I don't do Discord and can take a while to reply to comments - while either just posting up fanart or fanfics while I'm fixated on a particular fandom.

Although I do steer clear of fandom drama when I can and keep messaging off on my fandom accounts. I definitely don't have the energy to get involved in that kind of nonsense on my spare time - and admittedly I still miss the Livejournal era of fandom for the more interactive side.
