I often find going from the main quest to the usual gameplay jarring because the world doesn't change outside stories. I think it's less noticeable in some areas but I felt that way in Fontaine too. I agree that in Natlan it feels even worse. It hasn't been my favorite arc so far.

Apparently, there were some NPCs that are missing from the villages that used to be there before the war but hell if I ever noticed it. It was just so weirdly... anticlimactic.
