Yeah. I get that writers can be insecure and unsure of themselves, and that's fine. But even if you're sincerely tearing yourself down in the tags of your own fic, that's just unattractive and not at all enticing when it comes to convincing me to read it.

Most of the time though, I think people are just fishing for sympathy, but being really immature and awkward about it.
