So talk! I have never heard of this author and the covers look like dopey YA romance.

Of the covers shown here, I'm mist familiar with two. Thwonk starts off as a YA romance story but then completely subverts the genre. That's the first book of hers I've read. I haven't yet read Tell Me, but I really want to since it deals with a teenager dealing with helping a potential human trafficking victim.

I'm currently working my way through Peeled, which isn't shown in the secret image. Peeled is part mystery, part media critique. The protagonist is a reporter for the high school newspaper and actually wants to grow as a journalist. The novel also explores small town dynamics and the pitfalls of the modern agriculture business.

I loved her books when I was in high school! But yeah, I never hear anyone talking about her.
