I’m starting to see more gijinkas that aren’t white, if that helps. Mostly women, though-I don’t see a lot of non-white men.

I could see people being worried about Unfortunate Implications, but it would be a nice change of pace to see more nonwhite characters (inasmuch as I'm not particularly into gijinka).

I guess it would be unfortunate implications, but the movie is pretty clearly a parallel to the US's systematic racism, particularly with black folk. It's a bit off to erase that point.

The movie scrambles things around a little, so foxes, rabbits, and sheep all face different aspects of anti-black discrimination. But I ultimately have to give it to Nick, because he’s the character who, as a kid, would have most likely been slandered as a “superpredator.”

Good ones are few and far between. A lot of them look more like human cosplayers than anything.

This has been a thing on and off with the filmcow characters for awhile now.

I feel the same way, but have noticed that is more of most Fan Artists being young and not that knowledgeable of character design, the best humanization come from experienced artists that really tries to think about the character as they are as apposed to fandomization version of them.
