So you think people are primed to invent then hate then destroy the greatest evil that is their fellow man, and hollywood is just tapping into that existing drive and simply purifies the evil into absolutes for the screen?

I could see that as the egg part in this chicken and egg problem, but I think we're now at a point where its mutually sustaining.
