A couple of guys from our HEMA club and I will be attending my first Sparring Meet that's arranged by other clubs in southern Sweden. There will be participants from 4-5 clubs so it's a good way to meet new people.

I still don't have a full kit of protective gear yet, but it'll be fine.

Man, that is such a cool hobby to have. What weapons do you use?

I use italian sidesword, single and dual wield. At our end of semester spars, we also do zweihander, sword and buckler, partisan, sickle, and previously also scythe depending on what everyone wants to try.

I usually go a couple of rounds with dagger against the "boys", because it's fun to be up close and maybe grapple.
