This one just didn't grab me in the same way as Hill House, and I've read both the books they're based on so it wasn't even an adaption issue because both take liberties with the source material/liberally drop Easter eggs.

But weirdly I think Midnight Mass has some of his "worst" qualities (mainly the excessive monologuing) more than Bly, but I prefer Midnight Mass overall.
