I honestly had no idea they’d made a third but even if I’d known I probably would have skipped it. The second one felt like the filmmakers didn’t understand what made the first so enjoyable.

Third one is... an experience.
It's silly and over the top and then suddenly it's a war movie

I honestly feel they killed off too many of the characters in the second movie. I get that they were trying to go for shock value/satire of spy movies by doing so, but it just doesn't work. And then I stopped caring about the franchise.

It was a pisstake of Bond, so it was a one and done just on its own. It adds, as parodies so often do, nothing and has no self sustaining lore except as a reaction to something else.

i was so excited after being pleasantly surprised by the first movie and was so disappointed by the second it made me angry.

It ran its course after the first one. It wasn't franchise material, it has nothing to say or offer on its own merits, it exists as a pisstake of an actual franchise.
