I'm not a chef myself, but I've been acquainted with a few and it depends on what kind of job they have, but when they get home they definitely don't feel like cooking anything elaborate, nor are they particularly picky about food. I think they're just 1) glad to be fed and 2) extra glad they didn't have to make it themselves!
