Way back in the LJ days when we didn't really tag or warn I read a Stargate Atlantis fic that was a surprise twist cannibalism and it fucked me up. Very well written subtle horror, but just not something I wanted to have read and live rent free in my head.

The only humiliation I read and liked was when someone was "humiliating" their partner by complimenting them. Praise kink before praise kink was big, I guess. Even then it rode the line for me.

I love praise kink but yeah, sometimes it can get a little too close to light humiliation.
