I was straight-out bullied for liking the “wrong” things. I was going through a hard time and it was one of the very few things that brought me pure joy.

I remember basically saying this in a college class - that it was OK for me to like the fluff I like being it makes me happy. My lecturer asked why I felt the need for permission.

At the end of the day, we all like what we like. We can't force ourselves to like what we don't, so drink and be merry, I say.
