Has anyone been following this meme fact checker lately? I've kept an eye on it as a way to avoid going into a bubble, and historically the sourcing for the fact checks has been reasonable. I'm see fewer and fewer sources listed, though, which is not good. I could be missing something, though, so I figured I'd check.

You're right, but if people are stanning for Cersei because she's brilliant, then either the TV show has taken a significant departure from the book(s) or people just don't get that she's conniving (and Lena Headey is distractingly fabulous) but does some spectacularly dumb shit.

I can't help but think that as much as I threw my support and my vote behind Kamala Harris, we might've stood a better chance if Walz had been the presidential nominee. Older white guy, check - a lot of people won't look any further than that. He came off (at least during the brief campaign) as a lot more likeable than Harris did, by a much broader demographic. I'm not saying I think that's fair or justified, but I do think he had wider appeal. Some of his qualities neatly countered a lot of dumb anti-liberal jabs that the right usually take (football coach, teacher, gun owner, loves to hunt) and that might've helped.

I dunno. I just... wonder what might've been.
