I spent too much cash on a present for my mom, and I'm waiting for a cheese pizza to bring home.

I'm ok, I guess. Wish it was a bit warmer here.

Well, I've got a nasty flu and feel miserable. I was already pretty sick yesterday, and today I feel even worse. Feel worn out just getting up to go to the bathroom or to the kitchen. Eating a can of soup and then going back to sleep.

Also, one of our neighbors had a really loud party last night that clearly involved a lot of alcohol. At 5AM this morning, someone banged on our door looking for our boyfriend. When I said they were at the wrong house, they asked me if I was sure. What? Argh.

Pretty good! Got some great Thai food for lunch. Now having a drink and playing Marvel Rivals.

Slow. But at least I got some goddamn adulting done and got my brakes fixed. I'll need to push ahead with a couple of other car repairs ahead of... uh, certain circumstances that may or may not needlessly drive up the price of the parts involved (yes, that is a topic for the political section). Thankfully, I'll have time to do that.

Working, as usual, but no big deal. I'm back on overnights, and i like those! (Also, 2 bucks extra an hour for overnight hours. Yay!)

Also, in the spirit of the season, I hiked out into some random waste land that's been for sale for literally almost 2 decades, found a likely little cedar tree, chopped it down, and dragged it home. Now it is festooned in lights and quietly dying in my living room. Merry Xmas!

I am tired and regret signing up for a nightshift (that starts in 15mins). But the money will be nice and the job is actually fun as far as jobs go, I just want to be lazy and cozy and snuggle under my blankets with my dog right now.

On the one hand, I've been worried about my brother who was in the hospital after epileptic seizures and have had a high pain day all day.

On the other hand I'm watching WWE Saturday Night Main Event and I got some insane Victory Royales earlier.
