Korn and Gun were both very interested in Porsche, and only Porsche. If they cared because he was Nampheung's son, then they would have had the same interest in Chay, but they both completely ignored him unless they could use him to get to Porsche. So it can't be because they were both "in love" with Nampheung and Porsche is special because he's her son, because Chay is as well. If, however, Porsche was born soon after she escaped the mafia and married, then there's a possibility that Porsche is Korn or Gun's, and that would explain why they care so much about him and not Chay.

That is not an angle I've considered before but it makes so much sense!

I did make fun of the obsession everyone has with Porsche but obviously he's one of the two main characters, so I didn't think about it anymore. I love this in-universe explanation and it's going to live rent-free in my head forever now. Now I want fic exploring this from Gun's/Korn's POV lol

It was bugging me most of the time. Like, I understand why Kinn was obsessed after the first few episodes (brat to his sugar daddy), but at first it was only Korn's insistence that they keep Porsche. Kinn didn't really care in that first episode. And then of course it came out that Korn had been keeping an eye on them the whole time. Gun could have easily gotten to Chay via Macau (same school) and let Korn keep Porsche if it was just a matter of having Nampheung's kid, but no, he had to have Porsche...
