I'm still doing everything in my power to prevent getting it, and I'm vaguely paranoid every time I go to a restaurant because the only times I've gotten sick at all since 2020 - one of which was covid - was because I went out to eat. I still mask everywhere that is crowded, stay as up to date on the vaccine as they'll allow, and remain diligent about actually washing my hands when I should. None of these things are difficult or burdensome in any sense, it doesn't drastically affect my overall life, and it keeps me from being a miserable baby with the sniffles. Win-win.

The thing is, even with less severity, you actually don't know how it'll affect you unless you get it, and in my case, it was bad>/i>. Super bad. Not something I wish to repeat. Lucky me, I'm Mr. Severity over here who can't let down my guard.
