I said this on the secret maker's thread, but I don't think there's any one particular dedicated bad faith anon? There are plenty of days when all the responses to all the secrets are positive.

I’ve been accused of being that anon and I’ve seen others being accused, too.
But also, there is at least one person who takes any disagreement in the comments as being bad faith, like they don’t know what that means.

I think there are a couple specific anons who have a habit of being a troll-y bad faith commenter a little more than usual. I don't know how if they are in cahoots with each other though.

If it's not just one person, I think there are some individuals who do it semi-regularly because they enjoy pissing people off.

NGL I think about someone I'd known in fandom who also visited this place (over a decade ago and I haven't been in contact with this person in a long time so I really have no idea if they still come here - much less remember it) and they enjoyed pissing people off in fandom message boards they were in. Not saying I suspect this person of being a culprit, but I am reminded of them and how proud they were to get people riled up. Wouldn't surprise me if there are a couple people like that who come here regularly just to find ways to piss others off.

Yes, many of us have days where we have shitty takes or get into arguments on here.
But I think there are at least a couple folks who know what topics get a lot of attention and engagement on here and they purposefully make secrets/comments that are ragebait. And for me, it's really fucking annoying.
I've learned to scroll past when I'm feeling agitated though.

Yup, exactly. We all do have bad days and different opinions. But usually even heated discourse can get resolution. I know I've backtracked quite a few times.

But couple of anons are doing ragebait and it sucks. They are pitiful people but I don't enjoy toxicity
