As I was reading this, I kept wondering if this was my comment secret. But I had no idea about his daughter so it definitely isn’t my secret. I DNF’ed the series. It was just annoying switching POVs constantly and every chapter had a mini cliffhanger. The books were very long with just nothing much really happening. I loved the character development but it was unbalanced with the story. I’m not surprised that the last book was a disappointment because it felt in book two like he’d have to drop all the character development to advance the plot and ultimately wrap things up.
