The whole time Kripke and co. were trying too hard to play up the too obvious TWEEST to actually execute the character well.

I would have loved to see the twisted fucked-up love of Sam and Ruby. One where she manipulates Sam to do truly evil and despicable things because she loves him in her own wrong demonic way. We got to see only a bit of that right before she died.
