Erm good for you to the other stuff but smoking is bad. You shouldn't do it. Read some fic in which Zoro makes Sanji stop. They're my favourite. I don't have anything against him smoking but it's not really what makes him what he is. I mean he didn't always smoke (like in the flashbacks).

I know smoking is bad and the potential health risks involved with it. I don't think it necessarily "makes him" who he is, but I think it's a big part of his character and manner.

And I really need to be more clear with my wording. I didn't start smoking just to be OMG KEWL AWESUM LIEK SANGEE, it was moreso that I would get really stressy and paranoid and was like "o hay, he smokes to calm down, maybe I could try that." I should've said he inspired me to try smoking, that's more accurate. Not any less stupid, but more accurate.

To be quiet fair that doesn't make you look less stupid in my eyes. I think all people who smoke are stupid and I can still be friends with them so don't mind that.

There are other ways to release stress. You don't have to smoke. Smoking isn't a cure it's BAD. I know how that sounds to smokers. I know them. They've heard it a dozen times, they can't stop and they don't want to.

Seriously I think it's complete idotic to start smoking to release stress. Nothing against you just against your views on that subject. I know some people smoke when stressed but why would it calm you down other than you satisfiying your addiction and being okay for a while till the urge sets in again? Unless you smoke weed.

I realise you're not gonna stop smoking but seriously I'd look down on a cook who smokes. I generally look down on people who smoke but I can understand it's difficult to stop once you started. What I don't get is getting addicted on purpose. That's what makes me question your sanity.

Definitely stupid.

They are a stimulant, not a depressant. People who smoke are calmed by having cigarette because they are feeding their addiction (and repetitive habit, which can also be calming) and so calming the nerves that are crying out for their fix.

I seriously need a Sunny Crew icon. I'm glad to see that Sanji has inspired you to pursue your culinary dream. As for smoking... Well, I'm sure you know how it'll affect your health, but doesn't it screw with your taste buds?

It potentially could if I kept it up and started smoking like a pack a day. As it stands I don't smoke all that often, maybe one or two a day when I'm by myself, though I do smoke more in social situations. Either way I don't plan on smoking past age 30, but I'll probably quit sooner, ha. (Currently 21)
