i mean, i'm cosplaying as the guy, but i would never want to /be/ him.

he is a pretty cool character, though.
so... to each their own!

I mean he is awesome in an interesting charcter way but BE him?
Frighten the people around and be a complete lonley psycho with an alcohol problem?

...Why?

He might smile a lot, but he's probably the most miserable character in the whole series. Everyone he cared about left him, he has a crazy, knife-wielding stalker for a sister, his own little bouts of crazy, and an alcohol problem.

I mean, I love Russia and all, but I'd never want to be him. :|

can i give you some advice? stop having your friends call you by his name. it's weird and you will regret it.

Kid, you don't want to be psychologically tormented. Maybe you're young, and you think that kind of thing is "interesting" but believe me, there's a big difference between admiring someone like that for whatever reason and actually having to cope with all of it yourself. To make it worse, you'd have to put up with all the suffering the nation has occurred, all the wars, all the attacks on innocent civilians, all the economic turmoils, all the revolts, etc etc etc

Having a few screw lose doesn't mean OMGSORANDOM ^__^ I could be mistaken, but I don't think people tend to enjoy being crazy, even if you only see them smiling.

And I hate those -dere terms.
