The Flintstones was my childhood fandom, for some reason I absolutely adored it. My family has a story of my dad collapsing and being taken off to hospital with pneumonia while I completely ignored the fuss and told everyone to shush because the funny men were on. (I don't personally remember this but it seems likely - I was only allowed to watch half an hour of TV a day, and I watched the Flintstones in preference to Sesame Street.)

But I must admit that I absolutely get them as a polycule, or as Fred/Barney and Wilma/Betty.

I'm not into Hanna-Barbera cartoons at all, but this secret still made me smile. Cartoon slash (+ rare ships like poly) make a part of me happy deep down.

I'm not into them neither (though I love their Tom and Jerry output but that was from before they founded their studio so that doesn't count) so myself getting into The Flintstones would be a revelation to my younger self.

Forgot to say aww, I'm happy my secret I made you smile! I'm no stranger to cartoon slash, but shipping the four only just after seeing the first season was a surprise since I'm very picky with my poly ships.

It'll be animated but the news article where I found about it doesn't specify if it'll be in 2D or 3D.
