Casual games

I've been having the urge to play games like Super Mario Bros where you can just dip in, play a few levels, and dip out. Low stress, low brain power, low commitment. Anyone have any recs?

I hate the day/lack of save function in this game. I love the game overall I just find this bit annoying. I like to pop in and do some farming but then I have to either waste the rest of the day or play longer through it. Then in the morning I always have things waiting for me so it feels like I'm leaving in the middle of things.

Minami Park, a Nintendo Switch/Steam game about setting up a cute street with businesses.
Vampire Survivors, a (on everything) game about fighting endless waves of enemies. While this sounds pretty nuts, all the attacks are auto-attack so you just need to move around the map and figure out the best weapon combos.
Balatro, a (on everything) game all about playing poker hands with various powerups. A bit more brainpower than the other 2 is required for this one, but it's endlessly satisfying.
Wylde Flowers, a Steam (and Switch I think?) game about playing as a girl who moves to an island to take care of her grandma and finds out she's a witch! It's Stardew Valley but an emphasis on relationships and witchy stuff. It's a lot of fun.

*Sable.* Super chill game about a girl on a desert planet who rides around on a hover bike doing tasks for people, solving puzzles, and learning lore about the world. You can't die (well...you probably could, but it'd have to be from intentionally letting yourself fall to death), and you can save at any time.

*Dystopika.* Cyberpunk city-building game with no management objectives at all. You just chill out and create.

Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom! Super fun, designed for short bursts, can save anywhere.

The Sims 2 ... highly recommend downloading osab's Sims 2 starter pack to optimise game for newer systems. Sims 2 is abandonware - no longer commercially available for sale. Could also get disks from ebay or other second hand seller, if you don't have it already. Watch some Sims 2 youtube if you want a preview of what to expect from the game. It's very much casual - dip in play a while and quit whenever you want. Sims 2 still has a very active modding community too and since no more game updates the mods don't get broken. Sims 3 and Sims 4 games still cost a lot of money but those are okay too for spurts of playing and they also have many mods available. To be clear the games don't need mods but they are nice to have to include personalised details according to what you want.
