I know that’s Henry Cavill, but my brain keeps deciding it’s Matt Bomer.

So now I’m imagining what he would be like as Superman.

Matt Bomer came pretty close to playing Superman at one point: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/matt-bomer-lost-superman-role-outed-gay_n_6669b2d9e4b01bc0ceee0cf5

They do look similar, especially in this picture. Brandon Routh and Christopher Reeve don't match so hard, though.

I would have STRONGLY preferred Matt Bomer to Henry Cavill as Superman.

He's just a better choice, physically, even. Superman doesn't have to be super meaty. I also kinda dislike modern superhero physiques compared to the 80s and 90s, with the exception of Thor and Cap in MCU, because of who their characters are.

Batman isn't supposed to be totally buff either, IMO. You're supposed to believe Superman and Batman are a reporter and a billionaire businessman, and their strength comes in Superman's case from his Krypton roots and in Batman's from his gadgets and shit.

I realize this is probably petty.
