Follow up on movie-going

Wanted to thank everyone who commented yesterday about going to see movies alone. I went this morning and had a blast. I was the only one there and cried openly at one point. Sang along to familiar songs. Snuck in an Icelandic with no problem. Took a selfie vid of my mouth hanging open, which it was through most of the movie. Might go back before break is over.

I wasn't there in last night's thread, but going to the movies alone is great! You can totally focus on the film and get lost in it in a way that isn't possible while with other people. Not that being with other people is bad; it's just a different feel.

I went to see Avengers alone because my husband was on a work trip and that started a habit. I like a lot of stuff he's not into so I just enjoy my solo movie time!

Heh, I've commented about crying yesterday. It is so freeing isn't? Not worrying about crying and not being self-conscious.
