It's because it's one you hear EVERYWHERE in Star Trek circles these days, it feels. "At least it isn't Discovery" seems to be a mantra I hear so much I'm at breaking point.

Oh that is more understandable. I have been in fandoms that had such pervasive ohrases that it was like even part of the ohrase became a trigger for rage lol so I get this somewhat.
