Neither my husband nor I are Harry Potter fans and I don't think we have ever even given the suggestion to my brother-in-law that we were Harry Potter fans. (He did better with the other book gift, though.)

I have no idea. TBH, he may have simply thought it was a geek thing and therefore we might like it.

IDK if there's an American equivalent of Cards2Cash, but if you ever get any more gift cards - there's sites that can exchange unwanted gift cards to cash or for a store you'll actually spend money in.

Yeah, it is giving free money to the corporation. They've already been paid. If you don't use it, they get a freebie on you. I'd at least donate it to a homeless charity, they can probably pass it on to someone who needs a freebie more than the megacorp does.

Really? I mean, I don't drink coffee and don't like Starbucks, but plenty of people do. I'd at least try to pass it on if I couldn't sell it.
