In addition to what everyone else said, I also always have to imagine how awkward/uncomfortable these scenes must have been to film for the actors involved.

Weirdly, I can enjoy really uncomfortable scenes if I know an intimacy choreographer was involved. I'm glad this trend is picking up steam. I'd like to see more female directors tackle uncomfortable erotic material with the assistance of theatrical intimacy specialists.

(...although I've personally known such a specialist, and she was a textbook sociopath.)

Okay, that's ... not making much sense. You're okay with scenes like this if you know they paid a specialist to choreograph them, even though the one person you actually know who does that for a living was a sociopath? What?
