I kind of want to rewatch that movie, because I remember it being... not great but okay.
I do still see Brandon Fraser as Mo in my head, though (fitting as he was the inspiration for the character).

I'm with you on wanting them to try again and hopefully manage to do all books - unpopular opinion but the third is actually my favorite (the new one was kinda underwhelming, though).
