I genuinely don't know what fandom social mores are nowadays, and with the prevalence of huge fandom drama regardless of size (not to mention how different types of fandoms can be, ex. Star Trek vs. Granblue Fantasy), I'm too afraid to ask and don't know where to begin.

I wish it wasn't so complicated.

I read this book ages ago but don't remember any odd vocab that stood out to me. I wonder if I just glossed over it all?

Hm, I read it many years ago so it's foggy (beyond the general plot and the furry orgy). While I don't remember it's diction in particular, I do remember finding it pretentious as a whole.
