(frozen comment) The coming peace

(Anonymous) 2025-01-16 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Peace in Gaza because Trump doesn't care about Israel's little genocide program, doesn't give him good press so no point keeping it going.

Peace with Russia, we don't need to worry about accidentally starting a nuclear war with Russia because of Dem brinkshmanship in the Ukraine. We can finally dump that money pit.

No reason to go to war with North Korea or anywhere in the Middle East either.

Trump is going to be good for global peace. Biden and Kamala stans just need to accept it. Nobody wants to die for your outrage.

Go back to Twitter instead of trolling a Livejournal spinoff populated by middle aged fujoshi.

this is why you lost

you assume, demand even, that anyone who has a different worldview than you is troll

not that you are wrong, oh no, but the world is wrong and just being a troll

the sooner you wake up and accept that it is you who are wrong and your way is wrong, the happier we will all be. you included.

Posting provocative opinions knowing it'll rile people up is an act of trolling, it's not about the content of the opinions. You're just pissing away on an obscure platform in your mother's basement because you have nothing better to do.

DA

Yep. Going into a forum of flat earthers and posting that the earth is round is trolling. Content is usually irrelevant.

I'm sure this person knows that though.

da Since when being anti War is against fs hive mind? Then rename fs into 'Harris and Biden' fan club and no one'd post about Trump. I'm sure you know this.

(frozen comment) Re: The coming peace

(Anonymous) 2025-01-16 03:16 pm (UTC)(link)
It's so cute that you STILL keep believing the whole Trump is anti war bullshit despite repeatedly having been proven wrong. I mean, he just recently threatened several countries with war if they don't give their territories to him (which he has zero claims to). That's how anti-war the fucker is.
You're not anti-war, you're just really gullible and pretty damn stupid.

(frozen comment) Re: The coming peace

(Anonymous) 2025-01-16 03:59 pm (UTC)(link)
DA

Because this is clearly not "anti war." That's just the tool being used. FS aren't teenagers who are no longer being taught media literacy and writing analysis. We're older adults who did have those lessons. We can see through your bullshit.

That's why I don't understand why this troll posting bait is doing it HERE. On sites like Tumblr and Twitter or Reddit, which skew under 35? It'll work. The flame wars would be vast. But why Fandomsecrets? Literal confessions about fanfic and shipping, when there's at least two political comms on DW? Huh?

(frozen comment) Re: The coming peace

(Anonymous) 2025-01-16 05:01 pm (UTC)(link)
You never answered why you keep posting this shit here of all places. FFA has a spinoff comm that allows I-P discussion, does it not?

(frozen comment) Re: The coming peace

(Anonymous) 2025-01-16 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
Look I get it. I understand why you're supporting a man whose morals and actions align with your own. I get that being like him is something that excites you and makes you feel less insignificant in a world you can't understand.

I also understand it's much easier to let someone else do the thinking for you when it comes to where you stand on issues much bigger than yourself. You'd rather he do that than try to educate yourself and make your own opinion wouldn't you?

(frozen comment) Re: The coming peace

Idea: we all stop replying to blatantly obvious provocations

Throwing that out here

(frozen comment) Re: The coming peace

(Anonymous) 2025-01-16 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah I don't know why people keep replying to this person. Either it's a troll so replying is doing exactly what they want or they're really, really dumb and deluded so replying will accomplish nothing. It's just pathetic at this point.

Look, US is funding a fuckton wars at this point and anyone supporting Obama and Biden is a murderer.

Obama? Oh my god! A time traveler from 2009! Go back GO BAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! Tell everyone to invest in education! And block conservatives from the school board and all local offices! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both parties are status-quo enforcing warmongers, Democrats are just more centrist with social issues. I don't understand singling out Biden and Obama when they continued the war Bush Jr. started. What do we do then, just not vote at all?

Obama inherited the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars, and although he publicly spoke out against the Iraq invasion in October 2002, Obama kept the American military engaged in both countries – there were drawdowns without closure. Obama also inserted the US military, typically often special operations forces, into conflicts throughout the globe including: the al-Qaeda insurgency in Yemen (2010); military strikes on suspected al-Qaeda, al-Shabaab, and ISIS positions in Yemen (2011); military intervention in Libya: Operation Odyssey Dawn (2011); strikes on al-Shabaab militants begin in Somalia (2011); Uganda: support Uganda against the Lord’s Resistance Army (2011); troops deployed to Jordan to help it contain the Syrian Civil War (2012); soldiers and Patriot missiles sent to Turkey (2012); assisted the French in Mali (2013); USAF supported the French in Somalia (2013); special operations raids in Somalia and Libya (2013); increased military members sent to Uganda (2014); intervention in Iraq to support Iraqi and Kurdish fighters (2014); airstrikes against Islamic State of Iraq & Syria (ISIS), a.k.a. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), aligned forces throughout northern Iraq (2014); failed rescue mission in Syria (2014); increased intervention in Syria, and bombing of ISIS positions in Syria (2014); airstrikes on al-Qaeda, al-Nusra Front & Khorasan positions (2014); continuous attacks on ISIS/ISIL & al-Nusra Front positions in both Iraq and Syria (2014); raids in Yemen against al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) (2014); USN ships were sent to the Strait of Hormuz in response to Iran; U.S. military troops sent to Cameroon to provide support to local forces (2015).

On September 12, 2012, he ordered deployed to Libya “a security force from the U.S. Africa Command” to “support the security of U.S. personnel in Libya” in a long overdue response to the attack.

Here you go.

I'm aware. That doesn't answer the question of what do ordinary people do instead, when both parties are going to wage war regardless. Both liberal and conservative working class people are voting for the guy who is going to feed their families and secure housing, foreign policy is a lose/lose either way.

(frozen comment) Re: The coming peace

(Anonymous) 2025-01-16 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Biden is more pro war. That's it. Trump didn't start any new ones, he promised to end the current ones. Did you watch Kamala Harris interview on Israel? Well, come to think about it, I didn't watch but read it. She's 100% pro Israel. So fuck the people who vote without thinking about where their dollar comes from, and how much blood on it.
