I was saying the same thing! I absolutely loved it and would have loved a second season, but it was a very weird show that was a little uneven. I mean it worked perfectly for me, but I have weird tastes.

Renegade Nell was funny, the characters were great, the costumes were gorgeous, and the lead character female (albeit not like the other girls). But it was also cliché and uneven and sometimes cringy. I am so sad it never found the fandom audience of an OFMD.
