I'll say this for the UK, at least their ineffectual wafflers on the left don't claim that every political decision has to be bipartisan. The Dems insistence that everything be bipartisan, so they can avoid any hint of blame if it turns out to be wrong, or even difficult to implement, is the biggest roadblock to even the mildest for of positive political change. The UK may have the same neoliberal corruption, but at least when it does manage to move beyond that on rare occasions, they will actually just try to do something.
