Aren't the Longarm and Longleg tribes at war with each other as well?

I'm not particularly invested in the ship, but I do think they would make an interesting couple.

Re: Fishmen: I genuinely ship Nami/Jinbei which might be the only het May/December ship I have, lol. But man, with their respective histories with Arlong and how the racism against Fishmen have affected their lives, there's so many interesting aspects to their relationship. And on the purely physical side, I'm always into size differences. A kink for which One Piece is a freaking gold mine just in general.

Yes they are, which makes it even more fun! Two demihuman beings deciding to pair up in spite of their respective cultures gives so much potential, I wish more people were writing for it. Even in a platonic non-ship way. There is so much background there!

You get me, fellow non. You get me on all levels. I'm more Robin/Jinbei for age reasons and also Robin is obviously a kinkster max level so if Jinbei has double shark dicks, she'd so be down. But yes I agree on all your points all the way let's be friendos.

NGL, the age difference is one of the things why I think Nami/Jinbei works. I feel like Nami would suit an older man better, someone who's experienced but also someone responsible she doesn't have to constantly keep in line (sorry, Brooke. I ship you with Zoro, if it makes up for it). I think Nami is a bit of a brat, she usually just has to be the sensible one because there are too many morons on the crew. With Jinbei, it would be safe to be bratty in the relationship because our shark daddy actually acts like an adult. Nami doesn't have to be in charge nor be the responsible one and after her childhood, I think that would be appealing to her.

Plus, Jinbei would be very aware of his hand in Nami's trauma as well as the significant age difference, which makes for great angst!

Robin/Jinbei is fantastic as well! I'm an old school Frobin shipper, so I'm inclined to let her be freaky with the cyborg instead, but the Robin/Jinbei moments on Onigashima were wonderful. I hope we get more scenes like that. We need more moments of the adult Strawhats in general!
