So, post #1000 is coming up next week --

Anyone have any fun ideas for some way to make it special?

I was thinking maybe a separate submissions post for just #1000, and we fill it with only positive/feel-good secrets -- you know, how fandom has made you happier or affected your life in positive ways -- how would that be? C'mon, if you didn't love fandom (or love to hate fandom), you wouldn't be here, right?

Totally open to other ideas too, though, so throw 'em this way if you have any!

There's no equivalent to paint in a basic mac OS and I don't want to bootleg photoshop (which I would use exactly as I'd use Paint)

When Mac had a proprietary word processing program (Appleworks) there was a Paint program with it, but since OSX Microsoft word has been standard and Microsoft Office doesn't come with Paint (at least on Mac). I just googled it, though, and there are tons of Paint knock off freeware programs. This should have been obvious to me.

Can you believe it NEVER OCCURRED to me to google for paint knock off until, like, 20 seconds after I posted that comment? (To be fair I did have access to my ex's photoshop, so I mostly just used that.) My fandom secrets are going to get so much more epically ugly. :)

Hmm...I really think this should be optional. BUT I do believe that people who use Paint shouldn't feel the need to be all "ugly Paint secret is ugly" or whatever, because really no one should be judging them. Use whatever you have/are comfy with, I say.
