I have been in so much pain from my fibroids the last few days. The only temporary cure is pain killers and I had to ask my pharmacist for double strength ones.

I'm taking notes and making a pain chart so that the next time I see my gynaecologist he'll take me seriously and let me get a fucking hysterectomy like I wanted the first time around.

I was in the same situation. I was so happy when I finally got a hysterectomy and I hope your gyn does take you seriously and you get one.

Hysterectomy = win!

In the meantime, if they're connected to your period and you have a fairly regular cycle, it helped me to start taking anti-inflammatory painkillers 2-3 days *before* it was due to start. It still hurt, but it didn't get to the same levels as before.
