Yes. Worst is when I'm driving or doing something and I have no way to write it down. By the time I have a phone or pen in hand "...wait, what was it?"

Say it out loud a couple of times, it'll stick in your mind more. Try to associate it with a specific act too, like say the secret out loud and then say, also out loud, when I get home and make coffee I'll have to write it down a couple of times too. Doesn't have to be coffee, or even when you get home, just something you do regularly and near a method of note taking. Your brain is more likely to flag it up when you do whatever act you associated it with. The saying it properly out loud and in full is important too. That way your brain is fully engaging with it, because it is putting it out there consciously but also receiving it on a fully conscious level via your ears too.

It is a good technique for anything you need to remember, not just FS stuff.
