Hmm, maybe more adventure or puzzle? Though I am excited about Mario Kart. I was just reading that there is a new Super Mario Bros games too so I'm going to see what those are like. I think Super Mario World on the SNES was my favorite casual fun game so it'd be fun if I can kind of get that experience again.

If you like Mario side scrollers, Super Mario Bros Wonder is pretty fun, and you can play with other people (locally or via wifi).

Super Mario Odyssey is good if you like 3D and aren't prone to motion sickness.

Puzzle stuff can vary... I recently bought A Little to the Left (because I accidentally completed it while demo'ing and felt I should give money lol). Price is reasonable and you get a daily puzzle after you complete the game. There's also DLC (though I recommend probably getting it at a discount).

Tetris 99 is available, I think, if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. You can compete with other folks online and earn game skins and icons.
