He had been caring for her at home due to a bunch of ongoing arthritis-related issues that made it hard for her to get around. She had a fall, an emergency hip replacement and went into a coma the next day, then passed shortly after. She'd been unwell for a while but it all dovetailed pretty quick. I had a lot of respect for him because I cared for my Dad at home when he was dying and I know how trying it can be.

She's already told him it's not going to happen, she's still grieving herself, but he keeps sending her messages on Whatsapp and ringing her. She told me he's ruined the friendship with this but she's very much a "don't make a fuss" type so she feels obliged to keep up appearances and see him on outings.

nayrt - It's a shame that your Nan is set on not making a fuss, because she's not the one causing problems here, the creepy man trying to make a move before his wife is even cold is the one who's making a fuss. Going along with Mr. Creepy will likely create further issues down the road for your Nan, especially since he's clearly not the type who takes no for an answer. He already thinks that if he just keeps pestering her, ignoring her wants and needs and applying more pressure, he can get what he wants. Men like that deserve to be slapped the fuck into the next zip code.
