Well, the Democrats appear to finally be getting their shit together, at least. They have a new chair and seem to be reacting to Husk's fuckery. No idea if they'll actually do something effective or just resort to their usual dumb scoldings but for now, I'm watching to see what they do. Maybe for once, we the people won't feel like we're on our own here.

It seems like even if we are able to get Trump and Musk out of there without too much damage and even restore something like rule-of-law protocols there's no reason to believe they (with a small number of exceptions) won't present like a purple-assed baboon for the next group of Republican putsch wannabes.
