Rogue One killed off everyone. And The Last Jedi killed people too. So no, Andor isn't the only new Star Wars thing to kill characters.

And personally, I get why they wouldn't want to kill off a character on a kids show. Though I don't think it is impossible to make it work.

Back in my day, kids shows killed characters off all the time! Well. Some did.

Okay, one.

The Animals of Farthing Wood.

Just that.

Constantly.

Oh, god. Farthing Wood was absolutely brutal. I was lured in as a babby by the cute animals and had so many nightmares as a result. We had entire sets of the magazines that went with it.

The hedgehogs

Oh, same!

The hedgehogs were terrible... and pheasant seeing his roasted wife... and the Shrike skewering the babies...

Oh gods you reminded me of Badger and Mole.

Skeleton Crew isn't about war or was telling a war story, so how would that show the true violence of war?

I love Andor, but if I had to attribute a flaw is that it lacks a lot of the pulp feeling of Star Wars overall, so I hate when people try to use it as a jab at anything Disney when it could easily be a jab at anything SW ever, including Legends.

Yes, yes... I'm aware I may be taking the bait, lol.
