Depending on what PB you want, they can be easier to get nowadays.

(But depending on what PB you want, some can be much harder to get.)

I always wanted a royal one ;A;

While there are people willing to save for them, Royal PBs are some of the most expensive PBs. :(

I looked into one once and just laughed at the prices people wanted for them. No way I'd ever be able to save that much.

they're some of the most expensive, but the price can't really inflate on them, because the hidden tower sells them. so a royal pb will always be in the ballpark of 1.75m, whereas the maraquan and mystery island and zombie pbs go for INSANE amounts of neopoints.

See, I never really wanted an maraquan PB because for my pets (an aisha and a cybunny) I didn't think they looked good. And I'm not a fan of zombie things. I never looked at their prices.

I did look into island - I rolled my eyes at the price too.

However, it is nice that they give out some PBs in games, so if you REALLY want to paint your Neopet, you can settle for other colors that are now very reasonably priced. Like speckled or cloud.

I always wanted a pink one, until they came out with that popcorn avatar...

I am still bitter after years of leaving the site.
