This series would be a lot better if they actually had consequences for anyone's actions, rather than force the waifu angle for every single character at all times. Your waifu can be problematic! It's OK! Also, you cannot level a military fort with no casualties. That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works. Yet this happens multiple times. I did the quests but I skipped all the cutscenes, mostly because I wanted my Endwalker relic weapons and they were locked behind that slog. Agreed in not finding the whole thing funny, I get that the Hildebrand stuff is deliberate nonsense, but it's nonsense I don't like.

I think that's only some of it? Honestly I wasn't invested in it, I just wanted to finish the stupid thing already so I could do my EW relics. But I recall the EW section being mostly original and not leaning too hard on references.
