There was this show in my country some years ago where a cast of normal people were placed in a ~1900s country mansion, one part as the servants and one part as the rich family and they were supposed to live and work there for some time (a month or two, I think) according to their station with the historically accurate limitations. It was basically people larping as a Downton Abbey cast and at the time of the broadcast, I really wanted to be part of that. In hindsight, I would have not been happy about some parts of it (especially anything to do with hygiene) but at the time, it looked so cool.
