Bwahahaha that’s exactly what everyone in the Lego community thought when the first pictures leaked.

It has a sound brick that has people throwing their money at the set but honestly I think this is one of the absolute worst Lego sets. And they’ve put out a lot of terrible ones recently. But I cannot imagine spending that kind of money for a pile of brittle brown that literally looks like shit.

Okay, you win, I finally looked up what/who hawk tuah girl was. Before this secret I was just vaguely thinking it was some New Zealand or Māori thing, which now I am realizing my brain just mixed it in with haka.

Do you download fic? If yes, what format do you prefer?

I used to download everything and had a highly organized fic filing system, but then I got lazy when ao3 came around and just started bookmarking. I just got a new PC and am having a grand time organizing folders and files and downloading things like it's 1999.

I download mobi out of habit because it used to be the only way to side load it onto a Kindle. I think Kindle can now read a few different formats that AO3 offers.

Back in my day that would have been a pixellated heap of thousands of bricks carefully stacked in terraced layers to make the shape, not a few pre-sculpted plates to make it "exact." I mourn Lego's sellout to licensing, if I wanted a sculpted figure I would buy the action figure.

Yup. I either download as HTML and copy that over into a document file, or I copy-paste from the fic itself on Ao3 and save it as a document file. All of them go into various fandom/ship/character folders for me to re-read whenever I feel like it. I don't save everything, just the fics I really like that I know I'll want to re-read again at some point.

God, I used to copy/paste everything into word to save fic and it was such a pain in the ass. Especially for multi-part fic posted all over the webrings or various LJ entries. I had forgotten about that lol
