While I understand it was to show how Lisa cannot make friends easily, Lisa had the Yearclub girls and even Sherri and Terri or Janey Powell to go to Little Pwagmattasquarmesettport with. They would have done a kind of "Oh they're going to another place instead" rather than make "Lisa has no friends, woe is her". Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

And yes, I'm a man whose shirt says "Genius at Work" spend all of his time watching a children's cartoon show.

My friend was teasing me for sounding like a Boomer or a "get offa my lawn" gramps, but yes. A million times yes. And fanvids and goofy homevideo types.

I didn't know they did that, that's kind of a bummer. Her whole thing was she was happy just being herself and that included all the 'crazy' clothes and hair and makeup and troll dolls. Or at least that is my memory from watching it when it first aired.

I am so stressed about the shit going on and what appears to be the collapse of democracy and our society and I feel powerless and I am literally losing sleep because of it. I am calling and writing my representatives and downloaded the 'goods unite us' app and I went to a protest on Monday but what else can I really do? I feel powerless and angry and hopeless. So many friends (rangers/national parks workers mostly) have lost their jobs for absolutely no reason and things just seem to be failing for so many people.

I have an appointment with a new dr tomorrow and am hoping to get on some anti anxiety or depression meds. Can't help the collapse of society but it can help my day to day dealing with it....hopefully. As long as mental illness meds remain legal, I guess.
