AAAH YES I'm actually a fan of Sam!Cap IN THE COMICS. He's literally my favourite captain America and one of my fav characters, but in the MCU??? I kind of hate him since Falcon and the Winter Soldier, lol. I wanted Bucky to be Cap, because MCU!Bucky would be freaking amazing at it (unlike in the comics where he's a moron with a shield *affectionate*) and a true angst factory (which I'd loved to see).
When I tried to explain why I really don't like MCU!Sam years ago I got wildly misinterpreted by some fans who tried to depict me as racist. That was... something.
