obligatory Monty Python but I gotta shout out American Dad's occasional absurdist trip. Between seasons 9 and 15 they were almost all surreal in some way but prior to that it was the holiday episodes and they're the best, probably because instead of the absurd being the standard, it was a nice treat in juxtaposition to the actual scripted sitcom-style series. But the later seasons have episodes like Jeff slowly turning into Guy Fieri due to demon possession and I loooooolllled it was so absurdist good.
