We've lost the plot on the actual problems with gen ai so bad. The environmental issues are with corporations dumping resources into running AI training nonstop to try to be marginally more competitive. Locally generating some pictures or whatever for fun is not any worse than using that graphics card for gaming. And wrt intellectual property issues, we are in FANDOM. I don't understand how you can possibly be here and have issues with people remixing other people's art in not for profit ways. The problem is corporations, not individual people having fun with AI tools.

I never thought of this but honestly that would be amazing! I could have them read what I wanted and even scratch the itch for the ones who have never narrated audiobooks. I could fix the shitty narration in my fave series that started with an awesome narrator but then kept switching to terrible ones, each worse than the last.

I think part of why I’ve never thought about this before though is because AI just isn’t something for me. I’m against it morally and ethically and won’t use it, so never really considered the possibilities.

That's a very common mistake people make when they're young... being unable to manage their feelings, and not communicating well. It happens. Sounds like you're in a better place now, and regret is natural. But be kind to yourself, the whole point is that you learned how to do better.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

P.S. Please don't worry if you've submitted a secret and it hasn't been posted yet. I usually post these threads before running out of the previous batch of secrets to get a head start on the next batch.
